MÉLANI’s latest release introduces two new styles, the Izabelle Bustier and Layana Skirt, bringing a fresh perspective to the brand’s signature evening and resort wear. Designed to be worn together, the coordinating pieces feature delicate sheer mesh, intricate ruching and romantic ruffled detailing, creating a feminine silhouette that balances elegance with modern sophistication.

The collection welcomes Terracotta, a brand new colourway that brings a warm, earthy richness to MÉLANI’s palette, alongside the return of Olive, a recent favourite that has quickly become one of the brand’s most loved shades. With a softly structured bustier, halter neckline and flowing tiered maxi skirt, the set offers a statement look for resort occasions, summer celebrations and evening events. Together, the Izabelle and Layana embody MÉLANI’s approach to contemporary femininity, combining distinctive detailing with timeless appeal.

The Design Process

MÉLANI’s newest arrivals explore femininity through intricate detailing, sheer textures and rich, earthy tones. Designed in house by Sofia Kapiris, the Izabelle Bustier and Layana Skirt were developed with a focus on creating a coordinated silhouette that feels both romantic and contemporary, while remaining true to MÉLANI’s signature aesthetic.

The Izabelle Bustier features delicate ruching across the bust, a flattering halter neckline and sheer mesh panels, finished with soft ruffled detailing that accentuates its feminine shape. Complementing the bustier, the Layana Skirt features a low waist silhouette with gathered tiers and delicate ruffled accents, creating beautiful movement throughout the design. The introduction of Terracotta brings a fresh warmth to the collection, while the return of the popular Olive colourway offers a familiar yet elevated alternative.

Throughout the design process, careful attention was given to the fit, fabrication and finishing of each piece, ensuring the two styles complement one another while maintaining their individual appeal. The result is a considered collection that celebrates feminine detailing, modern elegance and the distinctive design language of MÉLANI.
